Kensington Tennis Club League
Introducing the Kensington Tennis Club League: a dynamic, member-driven league where the most passionate club members come together to compete, improve, and be recognised. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or an enthusiastic amateur, this league is your stage to showcase your skills and experience the thrill of progression!
How Does the KTC League Work?
The league is for all Kensington Tennis Club members at any tier & level (Club, Gold or Platinum).
1.Groups Assigned
All members who sign up for the league will be entered into appropriate groups according to their skill level. An email will be sent with the details of others in your group.
2. Opponent Selected & Matches Arranged.
You will be matched with a fellow club member, and you must arrange to play the match within a month of receiving the email. You must record the score. A game can be held anywhere: on a public/private court or at a Kensington Tennis Club venue that you book in the usual manner.
3. How Should a Match Be Played?
Decide the winner based on the best of three sets; the third set goes to tie break.
4. Email the Result.
Once the match is finished, please email the score to the Kensington Club office.
5. How Are Points Decided?
One point is awarded for a win, and accumulative points increase over the year. The top three performing members receive a prize at year-end.
6. Seed Set
At the end of the month, the top seed is promoted, the bottom seed is demoted, and the other two remain. The bottom seed will not be demoted from improvers, and the top seed remains in advance. There will be a scoreboard that all participants can view.
