To join Kensington Tennis Club, you will need a membership. You can choose and start your membership <a href="https://www.kensingtontennisclub.com/membership_tiers">here</a>.

How can I join your club?

You will need a membership to participate in group, private 1:1 lessons or book a tennis court with Kensington Tennis Club. Our <a href="https://www.kensingtontennisclub.com/membership_tiers">membership tiers</a> offer access to various lesson types, allowing members to only pay for the type of lessons they will use. For example, if you only need court booking and group lessons, then a Club membership is suitable. However, if you require private 1:1 lessons in addition to group lessons and court bookings, a Gold membership is required.
Most memberships are annual and can be paid in instalments or one lump sum. We also offer a <a href="https://www.kensingtontennisclub.com/auth/login?redirect=/auth/guest-pass">7-day pass</a> for all temporary visitors.

How does membership with Kensington Tennis Club work?

How can I find out more about lesson availability & pricing at your venues before I become a member?

Private lessons (1:1 with regular coach): &pound;80 per hour&nbsp;
Private lessons (1:1 with head coach): &pound;95 per hour&nbsp;&nbsp;
Cost to add another Gold member to a private lesson (regular coach): &pound;20
Group lessons when the whole term is booked: &pound;12 per lesson&nbsp;
Group ad hock lesson cost (when random weeks are booked): &pound;23 per lesson

How much do lessons cost?

Court booking costs anywhere from &pound;15 to &pound;45 per hour. The cost depends on the venue, with most venues costing &pound;22 per court booked. To view availability, download the <a href="https://apps.apple.com/us/app/kensington-tennis-club/id1631374352">app </a>and access the court booking schedule.

How much do court bookings cost? 

Yes, you can hire a tennis racket for your lesson. Hire costs &pound;15 per lesson per racket. Payment is taken by card when you arrive.&nbsp; Tennis balls are provided for lessons.

Can I hire a tennis racket for my lesson? Are tennis balls provided?

To cancel your membership before its annual renewal date, you will need to pay a fee.
Log onto the website and manage your membership through the portal. You can also access the manage profile page through your app.
To cancel your membership at the time of renewal, please email: info@kensingtontennisclub.com two weeks before the renewal date.

How do I cancel my membership?

 Group lessons are non-refundable and non-transferable.

I can no longer attend one of the group lessons I booked. Can I transfer my unused group lesson and attend another time/day/class in exchange?

Check the <a href="https://www.kensingtontennisclub.com/locations">location</a> on the website or app.&nbsp; Each location has a Google Maps link. Our venues are locked so if you need to enter before your lesson, do not be alarmed if the gate is locked. At the time of your lesson, a coach will come to the gate and let you in. If you are still unsure, please contact Kensington Tennis support team via the app.

I’ve booked a lesson with you. How do I find the court?

Members can upgrade to the next tier. To manage your membership, log onto your account, go to "membership", choose which tier to upgrade to through the website, and select the option that suits your needs.&nbsp;
Downgrading your membership tier is not currently available. However, you can cancel your membership on the website's members portal. Fees apply.

Once I become a member can I upgarde or downgrade my membership tier?

From June 1st 2024, only Kensington Tennis Club members can play on courts booked through our app. Failure to ensure that all who use a booked court are active members of Kensington Tennis Club could result in additional charges for the member who booked the court.&nbsp;
